Welcome to Divine Shih Tzu! I've been involved in showing and breeding lovely top quality Shih Tzu for many years, more than I'd like to admit! Shih Tzu have wonderful playful temperaments and seem to really enjoy life to the fullest! These little clowns are always happy to see you, I feel that their unconditional love is one of the many reasons why I am so enthralled with this breed. Giving our Shih Tzu the very best has always been top priority for me and always will be. You might say our dogs are living the kind of life that I would choose to live if I were a dog. Maybe that is why we are so picky about how we care for our darling four legged kids! To say they get the very best is an understatement you might say they are down right spoiled, but I ask you, why else would one have a Shih Tzu? This breed was developed to be a companion dog so that is what they do best We hope you enjoy looking at our Shih Tzu even half as much as we enjoy raising them. I've always felt blessed and honored to have found such a sweet breed to share my life with. Just a little more info. about me: I breed for temperament, breed type, health and beauty all of prime importance to me. I carefully plan each breeding, hoping to improve upon the quality of the Shih Tzu I already have. All of our puppies are very well socialized to bring out their very best personalities for both pet homes and show homes as well. All of our puppies are home raised as part of our family. They are not Kennel Dogs! I only breed a few litters a year, and carefully screen for the right home for each individual puppy. I am a member of the American Shih Tzu Club and adhere to a code of ethics in the care of my dogs. I have been a All Breed Dog Groomer for about twenty years. My puppies are all A.K.C. registered. The puppies being sold as pets will be sold with a limited registration and a spay/neuter contract. I do not sell puppies for breeding. I provide a written health guarantee until three years of age against any proven congenital life- threatening health issue. The health and well- being of our dogs is of utmost importance to me. I love to hear back from people and updated on all of my puppies.

What A Person Can Expect From A Divine Puppy! The sweetest most fun loving little dog you could ever imagine. This is a breed that was made to please. Unlike many of the other toys this breed can live in a home with small children but as always parental supervision is essential when you have a Shih Tzu puppy. Toy breed puppies are very small and just jumping off of a couch could prove to be dangerous. Shih Tzu are said to be hard to house train so we try very hard to keep our puppies spotless, in doing so, we have found that very few people have problems house breaking them. I do not work outside the home and I believe that makes a big difference in raising puppies. Before leaving for their new homes our puppies are all wee wee pad trained and very well socialized. I believe that even in the first weeks of a puppies life the way that puppy is raised can really make an impact on it's future behavior. By nature all puppies want to be clean and want to please, it's just that some aren't given the chance to learn how to do this. We try to give our pups that "chance" by keeping their surroundings clean and spacious. Some people have vast experience with dogs and know what they are doing and others have none. This will also determine how many situations will be dealt with as much as anything will. I have had a whole life time of experience raising and showing dogs and have found this breed to be the sweetest most loving little dog around. Having said that, there are pitfalls to all breeds, and one, for some, would be the huge demand for grooming. If grooming is not your "thing" then you have two choices to either not get a Shih Tzu or hire a professional groomer. Because not grooming a Shih Tzu is not a choice this breed must be groomed regularly. Many people just pre book monthly grooming appointments to keep their Shih Tzu in a" puppy cut "or" Teddy bear cut" This is something to think about before getting that little ball of hair.
